Sean Leon’s LA debut was on Comedy Central’s ‘The Ben Show,' as the flower shop owner, Austin Flowers, a parody on Austin Powers.
Sean’s face became recognizable from the national Bally Total Fitness commercials for TV, print ads and on ‘in house’ Bally Total Fitness products and campaigns which he shot in Chicago.
12 years in Sweden, Sean Leon starred in such musicals as Hud-Boogieman in ‘HAIR’, Chino in ‘WEST SIDE STORY’ and The Footman of the Royal Court in the International Production of Jean Genet’s, ‘THE BLACKS’ where his English accent and latex Caucasian mask fooled audiences and left them in disbelief. Mr. Leon toured with both residencies, in South Africa (The Johannesburg Market Theatre) and Sweden (Stockholm’s State Theatre), for SIDA. (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency)
Currently, Sean Leon is a recurring star on the Web Series, ‘Lovers & Friends LA’ as the sexy ‘home wrecker,' drug dealing choreographer, which is featured on REVRY network.
Sean Leon trains like a ‘Navy Seal of Acting’ at the Actors Academy in Santa Monica with coach, Lewis Smith (The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, Heavenly Kid) in on-set camera training, structure improve, auditions, self tape auditions, fundamentals, scene study, and props & marks.
Sean attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts High School, which is among the top-ranked private schools and is the #1 arts high school in Illinois. Mr. Leon graduated with a degree in Drama and went on to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts receiving his BFA in Design and Production while also performing in many productions under the direction of former Artistic Director of The North Carolina Black Repertory Company, Mabel P. Robinson.
Sean Leon is fluent in American English, Swedish and a strong British Accent for shows such as ‘Homeland’. Outside of acting and writing, Sean trains in boxing with 1984 Olympic Boxer, Charles Nwokolo, aka ‘Young Dick Tiger’. Sean Leon had the opportunity to train kids at the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School, located on the campus of the University of Chicago, a residential treatment center and therapeutic school for children and adolescents typically classified as emotionally challenged.
